School Readiness Program
School readiness can be defined generally as the skills, knowledge, and abilities that children need to succeed in formal schooling, and include readiness in the areas of language and literacy development, cognition and general knowledge, positive learning attitudes and beliefs, physical well-being and motor development and social and emotional development. The ability to self-regulate one's emotions, behaviors, and attention in a way that is responsive to specific tasks and demands, lay the foundation for future school success. Children who are able to regulate their emotions and attention have an easier time attending to academic tasks, which then promotes academic competence.
Our unique program focus on learning through movement (kinesthetic approach) and play and a concrete approach to new and more difficult concepts. Multi-sensory-full-body-learning maximise incidental learning, which takes place at its best when learners enjoy the activities, have fun, and can think of their own solutions. Our program benefits learners with academic potential, requiring individual attention due to developmental backlogs.
