Early Intervention Program
Early intervention services can change a child’s developmental path and improve outcomes for children and families. For best results, intervention should optimally start from 18 months to 4 years.
Research has shown that early intervention can improve a child’s overall development. Children who receive autism-appropriate education and support at key developmental
stages are more likely to gain essential social skills and react better in society. Essentially, early detection can provide an autistic child with the potential for a better life. Behaviorally, early intervention stops problematic behavior from becoming a habit as age increases.
The Centre provides 1:1 intervention tutoring to children on the Autism Spectrum in all the fields of development. An individualised intensive treatment program is provided on the days that the children attend. This focused approach assists in building of skills and closing the developmental backlog in the areas where this neurological disorder affects those most, such as:
• Language & Communication;
• Social Interaction;
• Restricted and repetitive
• Sensory Processing.
